the joys of living in an apartment

We have a little 930 square foot apartment. It's not huge, but my husband and I don't need a lot of room. Place for our computers, a bed, and a couch and we're happy. We've also got morning jobs..so when my neighbors started have a Karaoke party at 11pm last night..I was less than thrilled. Like a tool, I called the local police dept and had them come out and tell them to shut up. Cop came, everyone was quiet..cop had a chat with them, they all laughed, cop left..music started back up. I wish I could say I did something epic like started throwing oranges at them from my balcony or somehow transmitted an Elton John song to their stereo..but alas..i went to bed and turned the fan on high to drown them out.
SO this morning, our moped had been moved across the street and was blocking someone elses car in! So now its MY move! What do I do? Retaliate? Complain to the apartment complex? Or just be nice and ignore them all together? Mind you these people had their bass up so loud I couldn't hear Picard on the episode of next gen. that I was watching T_T

I can't wait to move next month! 1 whole room for soap :D
